Abelian Group

Abelian group은 law of composition이 commutative한 group 들을 일컫는다. 아래 예시들은 모두 abelian group이다.

• ℤ⁺: the integers, with addition
• ℝ⁺: the real numbers, with addtion
• ℝ^×: the nonzero real numbers, with multiplication
• ℂ⁺, ℂ^×: the analoguous groups, where the set ℂ of complex numbers replaces the real numbers ℝ
